Jethro Tull![]()
At home I use my finger and this kind of dust for little notes and reminders... 😀
The Beatles - Rubber Soul (Remastered)
The newly released remastered Abbey Road. They did a good work here, unlike 99,95% of all new remasters... 🙂
Pat Metheny - The Way Up (on CD)
Magnific 68 minute piece.
Plus they did a great recording/mastering job here. 24-bit digital recording. It is one of those CDs that does not make me want a vinyl version.

Johann Sebastian Bach:
Chorale Prelude (BWV 727)
"Herzlich tut mich verlangen"
by Walter Kraft, orgue Silbermann d'Ebersmünster en Alsace
One of these one favourite "little" pieces of mine, the organ sing on a human sound quasi. Poignant!
And how you like the old Hungarian music?

On this CD, of the 20 tracks only 3 are in the Hungarian language, but the chant style is a distinct "dialect" of the Latin, and different from the German and Bohemian.
According to the liner notes, not a lot of Magyar liturgical music survived the occupation of Buda in 1541.
Checked up the Anonymus 4, interesting one performs things the four ladies.
As much occupation was, (is?) miracle, that yet we're here.

Just a little background Eva Cassidy. Had some John Lee Hooker earlier but after half-an-hour I always end up talking to him... telling him that life really isn't that bad...
Fat Freddy's Drop..........nice low slow bass from New Zealand
The Meters..........one of "the" great funk bass and drum combo's ever.
The Lee Sankey Group.........very good London based bluesey outfit
Florence and the Machine........great new songstress
Bat For Lashes............Best album I've bought for a long time (Two Suns)
Enjoy!
