Output voltage of the DAC approx 1.4~1.5V
If U lke more, U can adj the resistors of the OP-amp. standard is 1K.

After 1541a & use one single OPA627 op-amp only.

no power transformers include.

this price cannot include power trans. But the Nano-amorphous pulse trans was include.

power trans 30~40VA sec 18~0~18 will be enough.
power trans must be prepare by yourself.

I understand that no power transformers are included. No problem, I happen to have a box of nice 18-0-18 transformers here... 😀

I sent you a mail with some extra questions:
1. Are all the parts on the photos included?
2. Is the CS8414 in DIP housing?
3. So I have to paypal 127 dollar to receive the complete assembled kit with the CS8414 receiver?

do U afraid that cheap price will not include more parts. Don't worry, since most was most complete by my production line. so will much cheaper!!

Don'y worry fedde, my production line was new sert up. I hope to collect order to support continous operate for it only.

Fedde, power trans ,need 15~18V.
Looks 16V will be Ok, If U use 18V the voltage input, voltage drop for the 7805 will large, much heat will produce! U can try or personal exchange large heat sink if U feel too hot.

Regarding for your question??

1. Are all the parts on the photos included?
yes, if assemble kit will contain all & the two large capacitors in the photos standard kit will be upgrade to silmic caps or same grade. the standard decoupling caps will philips MKT or thomson NKT caps.

2. Is the CS8414 in DIP housing?
yes, the hip socket was fit into the PCb. the 8414 & 8412-IS will follow with the adapter & gold pins.


3. So I have to paypal 127 dollar to receive the complete assembled kit with the CS8414 receiver?

USD 127 was the price of full assemble kit with standard postage to U. if U like to choose EMS post, pls added USD 7 more. & added USD 5.5 will get 14 pcs of close match in one decimal place MKP caps for upgrade to 1541a decoupling use.

tested already. very low noise.

Hi Thomas,

These are extra parts for my Twin DAC v2. They were missing from the v2 kit and you never sent them to me since then. So please include an extra TCXO and nano amorphous pulse transformer for my DAC v2 kit.

I,m having a hard time following what is included in this kit.

Is it a complete kit except for power transformer, internal cables rca,s, case etc. ?

Is all included to get a good dac running, or is it needed to get some of the components our selfs?

yes, power trans was exclude, cable will follow one metre Belden 1505A excellent diy digital cable of diyaudio.com. no rca & case, This price cannot include too many parts & this price was include posatge. Since this is non-profit DAC. USD 110 include postage only.

Full assemble can test by the factory, looks more safe that assemble by yourself. If U like to diy, I suggest U buy full assemble kit ( USD 15 more) & add USD 5.5 for 14 matcking MKP caps that U can directly exchange the decoupling caps to upgrade the performance by yourself. Full assemble will better because if your diy dac had problems, I was not easy to fix & check for U. is it right???

Every Dac I wil test for two hour before post.
connect power two hour & test the sound, if work, It menas OK& will post to ordered diyers. But it must assemble one.
Assemble was directly upgrade to silmic or elna, same grade rectifier caps.
