Newby Question about Potentiometer Replacement in Speaker Crossover

Hi guys, thank you! These are all great notes.
I'll try to go over all these next weekend (and I'll measure the pod at the ideal setting by listening) and report back.
Is there an L-pad you really like? Just so I can research those too... A fixed resistor feels like a good option for the sound path, no? again - Thank you!

L pads are rated according to resistance value, power handling value and whether they are mono or stereo.

Your should choose a resistance value that matches the impedance of your tweeter. A low power rating is sufficient for your Wharfedales, and the control should be mono. Have you looked at the link I gave you earlier?

In my opinion, an L pad is the simplest and most effective option to bring your Wharfedales into the 21st century.

The two other options, as has been explained, involve either measurement or experimentation. However, if you are confident with that, they will both successfully attenuate your tweeter - albeit without giving you flexibility of control over the treble level that Wharfedale originally provided.
