The h/w mode used and mac/amara. About The s/w mode I'm=0 😕Do you use software for controlling the AK4399 ? I want to try in dual mono...
Dual mono Dac (separated box dac,pre-amp-power amp sitting near the speakers) was interested to try ,but to much times&budgets.😡
I still prefer the modded technique, better&over kill power supply good lay out and wiring material and good AC power system, the SQ of stereo dac still OK for my taste.😀
Is anyone using the DIYINHK XMOS module with jriver? If so, what settings are you using - WASAPI event style?
I am not but I often see question for event vs push. If both work, there is not any difference. For some device, only one can work. Both work in Foobar Win7 x64 but I use the ASIO driver.
Thanks - a lot of the standard JRIVER output settings work (direct sound, wasapi, etc), however the best seems to be ASIO - which allows the use of the custom driver, as mentioned by nanoloop.
I think this is a silly question but will this work with a 24 bit DAC? What if I use a 32 bit stream? Will the DAC take only the 24 most significant bits?
It can change for the sample rate and the type of regulator. I measure 155mA before any modification @44.1khz. If no modification, always under 200mA.

The DIYINHK unit doesn't appear to be on sale any longer - can anyone recommend another similarly sized unit? Any chip except te7022 is fine (doesn't support 192khz).
The Amanero USB->I2S is much used here.. also does work up to 384kHz + DSD.
The te7022 is not good anyways since it is not async.

Check the end of the thread.. there is spreadsheet where you can add yourself to the Group Buy, then you will get the price of 39EUR + shipping, otherwise if you buy it directly from the amanero-webpage it will cost 79EUR, so i would advise you to take the groupbuy-way 🙂
Found the link to the spreadsheet if you want to add yourself - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AmX4TyHWgSmNdE5laDJQNlA3UVBYaWlrczJwYS1EcXc#gid=0
Excellent, thanks.
I was simply planning to get a second DIYINHK board for another project, but this does seem like a good chance to compare two similar boards.
On another note, has anyone using the DIYINHK board noticed a hissing sound in the background every now and then?

Hi guys, just got the board, but link to the drivers appears to be dead (http://www.diyinhk.com/support/DXIO_USB_Audio_Drivers163_20130410.rar).
Could someone upload them to somewhere please?
Thanks,
Fedor
