I have no ideas. The original https://ice.cr1.streamzilla.xlcdn.com:8000/sz=RCOLiveWebradio=mp3-192 plays on my Moode as does http://82.150.152.142:8000/sz=RCOLiveWebradio=mp3-192
Me neither. Looks like some certificate have expired for whatever reason and DNS fails to connect to the address. I will continue to search, but I have the feeling I have been in all these curl related threads posted out there…without success.
But thanks a lot for the help once more.

Maybe you will get a reply from Tim Curtis to your post over in Moode Audio Player for Raspberry Pi.
Let's hope...Maybe you will get a reply from Tim Curtis to your post over in Moode Audio Player for Raspberry Pi.
There is a simple answer. Your Moode is broken. Just reflash and start over and don't do whatever breaks it. Maybe it was adding one of the radio stations. Adding a VPN is very likely to break it, and it is on Tim's TODO list.
Do a system backup while things are working, so your configuration is easier to restore. Then you can try adding the things that break it.

Hi guys,
I'm using this thread as its topic is similar to mine, I hope someone can help.
I´ve installed Moode 9.2.4 on a RPi 3B+ with RPi imager, setting the SSID. I live in a serviced apartment, the wifi name is the same for all residents and it has no password, so I just left the password space blank. After powering the RPi I can´t connect to it through the wifi, browsing to moode.local.
I read that I should try and use the IP address, but when I use FING app on my android to find the IP, I get thousand of devices called generic, with IP going from 172.20.1.xx to 172.20.15.xx which are not there when the RPi is not powered.
I connected the RPi to a monitor and keyboard and I could log in with the username a password created but don´t know what to do, chatgpt didn´t help much 🙂
Any clue?
Thank you in advance.
David

I expect that you need to create a new image with a distinct SSID that identifies your node. The SSID that's common to your building is likely the router for the whole network. Then, with a local login you can probably discover which IP address the dhcp server in the building has assigned, and proceed. This is advice from one who knows enough to be dangerous, so you may well get better advice. I strongly recommend asking, via the MoOde website for a login to it's forum. The help will come quickly from much more knowledeable people than I.

Try the Android apps Bonjour Browser, Network Analyzer or similar. Bonjour will identify networked printers and Moode. The problem with your network is that there is no security. You should have your own router and firewall. There is nothing to prevent people outside your apartment complex from accessing the network.

There is also Bonjour Browser for Windows . "Bonjour is Apple's implementation of zero-configuration networking (zeroconf)... Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records."
