Hi there. Sorry to jump on this topic, but I'm having the same problem... I flashed Moode Audio from Raspoberry Pi Imager... Put the SD in my Raspberry Pi 2. But then, impossible to connect to it... I cannot see any SSID I could connect to, and if I try the Ethernet, same problem.... Any idea how to proceed ?
Have you completed the preparatory set-up as noted here..

See the setup guide. There are new security features with Raspberry Pi Imager, and userid/password needs to be assigned in the image. "NOTE: SSH and userid/password are required for correct operation of moOde."
If you are trying to connect with WiFi only, it is best to enter the SSID and password into the image with the Raspberry Pi Imager. Otherwise, follow the instructions for Access Point mode. I don't recommend Access Point mode. Some WiFi adapters don't support it.
I use an app called Network Analyzer on my Andoid phone to scan the LAN, and identify the IP of Moode on the network.
It is easier to connect for the first time over Ethernet. Then enter http://moode in your browser connected to the same LAN, and it should work.

Hi and thank you for the quick replies. I figured my problem out: I use a Rpi 2 and only the 32-bit (legacy) version works !
But funnily, sound was coming out from my stereo system with the default radios, and when I tried the bluetooth... it kind of worked a bit, and then trying to connect automatically again via the phone.... I could not anymore hear any sound.... And only 2 radios worked.... And after reboot, nothing seems to play :/

I rebooted a second time, and now only 1 radio seems to work + the SD card default "LR Channel And Phase" audio file.

Bluetooth with an RPi2? What USB Bluetooth adapter are you using with your RPi2? How is the RPi2 connected to your stereo? The 3.5mm stereo jack?
Sound output is produced by the RPi2 in some way, either using the stereo jack, HDMI, I2S DAC HAT or USB DAC. The phone and browser only serve as the display and control device.

I am using a USB Bluetooth dongle. RPi2 is connected via USB to an audio DAC (streamed from NAS). All works fine with MPD (standard config, without Moode, Volumio, etc...).
I am having multiple troubles.
I re-flashed my card to start fresh:
Step 1: NAS audio works fine - radios work fine
Step 2: try to add some radios. 1st radio works fine, 2nd radio not... and for whatever reason no radio can stream anymore - NAS audio not working (no sound, and when I drag the song cursor, i hear music for a fraction of a second then silence...everytime)
Step 3: reboot (error message pops up over and over on moode-local interface during boot
Step 4: enable bluetooth - pairs properly (but sound very low on my speakers)
Step 5: disconnect - NAS audio DOES NOT work anymore !! - radio still showing the same problem - but able to stream connect/disconnect with the bluetooth without problem
Any idea what's going on ? Looks all very unstable 😒

m --Power--Shutdown and Power Off. Disconnect power after the yellow activty light has blinked 10 times. Reconnect power.
m --Configure---Library and be sure your NAS has a Green Check. Play a NAS file.
Play a radio station. If a radio station doesn't play, check the playable url on another computer. Also, once a radio station fails to play with an MPD error, restart MPD. m--Configure--Audio--MPD Options--Restart MPD. Or play a NAS file or SD card file (Stereo Test).
RPi2 is not a powerhouse and can become overwhelmed, in my experience. Sometimes it just needs to sit for a bit and catch up. Check the yellow activity light on the RPi2. If it's solid yellow, grab a cup of coffee and wait until it turns off or flickers. An RPi3 is much more responsive.

In the future, post in the Moode thread or even better in the Moode Forum. More visibility to Tim Curtis and other experts.
I followed your instructions... but unfortunately only the Bluetooth is working: (I disabled it before powering off and re-enabled it after seeing that radios still show connection error and the NAS audio is still silent...though I can select songs and see the timelapse OK.
I kind of doubt that this is a problem of the Rpi2... it does not seem like lagging.
As for the lights....I waited a long time after power off (like 5 min)....but except the lights next to the ethernet cable I do not see lights, as the Pi is in a case. But here too, I'm playing for 10 min an album without hearing any sound
Should I copy this post in Moode thread ?

I would repost in the Moode thread. If your USB DAC is no longer working, is USB still connected in the Configure..Audio section? When I used a USB DAC in the past, if the USB input (on the DAC, it wasn't the default input) connected to the RPi wasn't selected at Moode power up, the USB connection fails. Moode needs to get a USB signal from the DAC at startup to initiate.
Ok. Will do the repost. Thanks.
You nailed one problem: the USB DAC is still well connected but the Volume type was setup to Software... instead of Hardware. So sound from the NAS and Bluetooth are fine.
But still error on all the radios...including the ones that were pre-installed

Yes. I've been using my Rpi2 for years with osmc + MPD and had no problems with radiosIs there internet access on the router?
done. Thanks.Contact to request Moode forum registration.
Look in the start up log for clues. m--Configure--System--Logs
Nothing obvious (to me - but I'm by far no expert). I attach the startup log file if that helps to find out something awkward. Thanks in advance

I don't see a Gateway. I think it should show the router primary address (192.168.1.1):. Is there a firewall?

Interesting. It's surprising that it could be the root cause (because it worked very well before I started adding radios)...but not impossible.
I do not have Access Point enabled (Router mode = off). But I guess this is only Wifi related, no ?
There is a built-in firewall set as "medium". I never played with it.
Apparently I can open some ports (for Ipv6 equipments it is mentioned): FTP, Telnet, SSH, http,... with UDP, TCP or both. Should I try something there ?

Yes, Access Point is WiFi only.
It seems as though the router is blocking internet access, for some reason.

Hi, sorry if I get into this topic too.
I just created my own MoOde Audio server hardware:
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/my-digit-berry.399053/
But at the moment my equipment has 3 problems:
1) Even by manually entering the MoOde SID
it never connected to my wifi network, but it possible to connect only when I have the CAT6 cable connected.
2) Alsa often displays the "...no output" error ( generally I solve restarting Moode).
3) If I connect usb keyboards MoOde does not see the USB hard disk
My RB Pi 4 has only one HIFI berry + card for digital out (optical and Spidif, both work fine)
Any idea?
Thanks
