New First Watt product at Axpona 2023

The folks at Refined Audio also had another prototype of Nelson's, a very cool 6 watt headphone amp. They let me listen and watch as they explaining the amp to me. I can't wait to read the article Nelson writes about this.
Last year the folks at Refined Audio had the "Beast of a thousand FET's" was teamed with another pair of CUBE speakers.

Just down the hall from the Refined Audio folks were the Plasmatronic tweeters. I sat and listened at both of these rooms longer than my entire visit to the Expo.

They played a solo jazz piano selection at one point, some music you hear, some you feel and some moves your soul. That would be how I would described the sound from these speakers during that song.

The SIT-4 will be there in Refined Audio's room.
Nelson, the folks at Refined Audio were so nice to me, allowing me to watch them put the headphone amp through some tests and letting me listen. The explanation of the amp, how it works. I have pictures of the amp and my notes, I can't wait to post them after you write the article about it in the Firstwatt website.

The Pass Labs room was packed when I was there, Kent had several people who seemed to be talking to him all at the same time. Every one left and moved on to other rooms with a smile on their face. Maybe next year I'll introduce my self and say hello, then again, silence is golden.

It will be interesting to see how soon someone has a working DIY version.

well, think a little

you can pick at least 5 different ones, made in last few years, print any/all of these, write DIY-SIT-4 on them , and that's it

not saying that Pa didn't include trick or two ( NFB for instance), but I'm just saying that if we miss to learn from actual schematic(s) and then remember, wtf we need future ones?

which reminds me of joke of Beauty of Alzheimers - "Life is great, everything is new"

(possible moralists, back of; I know tragedy of that illness)
