did some measurements to be seen here

sound pretty nice in a car.

The rising response fits perfectly for car hifi.

Also the bass bump due to small enclosure makes sense in a car - the bass must be louder than the motor noise

at the moment I see no need for any EQ, even bass and treble knobs rest in original position.

A small 30 watt class D amp powers them

the resolution of this driver is on a high level - its revealing the character of every record.

At a second listen the treble is reduced by 2db and bass gets +2db.

Only the deep bass is lacking but this could be corrected by some smartfone EQ.

The 5db bump at 85hz is of no harm in a car hifi application.

Fane 15 300tc freq.webp

now listened some time with different sorts of music the big fane in my car.

The car environment is a good match for the rising response of the big Fane so no eq at all was adapted.

The resonances to be seen in the previous post mainly above 4 khz and are whizzer cone induced are in practice not audible.

The ear seems to be forgiving at these frequencies.

Maybe it helps that the resonances are well distributed.
