A few very small wires and cuts in the PCB the DAC now also works! The solution came to me whilst at work today so just ran all the incorrect connections by hand. Not my prettiest work but it works! 🙂
Now I just have to get both the amplifier and the DAC working on the same board! Once that's working it's onto the enclosure!
Case is obviously not done but now it's all working great! 😁
PSU is quite large to say the least. Especially compared to the amp 😂
Sound is good, I haven't had much of a chance to listen to it but my first impression was that it was very clean with a perfectly black background with the headphones I had in the lab. I belive all the work I put in with the circuit design and simulations have paid off!
I don't have the equipment to measure how good it is though but I have a spare laptop around I should be able to set that stuff up with 🙂
Will do the required fixes on the remaining boards and then I think I might figure out a new PSU(probably switch mode to keep the size down). Will be an entertaining challenge to design that I hope
