It's OT to this thread, but the resonances in the bass, mentioned by two "letters" will make the lower end have a very nice "richness" in all probability. If they had tested it for 2nd harmonic distortion, I would expect that the measurements in that freq range would be very high... interesting that they would board the FR driver ship after all this time... hmmm...

Do you have photos of the original MBL bass driver with the inverted cone? An interesting choice by them..
That's a great find! Look like the photos are from the days of the original 101, judging by photo colour/quality and their clothes..
