Yes it is very high volt design and care should be taken

Planing to set 350KHz or 380KHz.

QSC using 500V Mosfet in PL380, Halfbridge, 250 khz FSW

Rail 160 V DC

You will have High Switching losses in IDLE with 180 V DC

Amp is much more warm in IDLE with this high Voltage v/s Class H / TD / EEEngine Amp


I think its better to have max. 125 V DC and Fullbridge

The amp will work, its Basic Standard Design like D4K5 + TLP2270, but SAFE ?

IR need Buffer like D4K5 oherwise get hot

You said right full-bridge(+/-95V) is better than Half bridge +/-180V supply rail.

IGBT is not fast it's for lower fsw{below 200KHz} only( basically for SUB application)

Hi manojtm. I have one question for you. The regulator used in aud600 amp based in mosfet and tl431 is suitable for +-100v amp .I am using this regulator and protection for my amps. Thanks a lot.
