MX50SE problem please help

I also check all 3 of the 1k ohm resistors that control the bios they are all in spec of each other by 0.0001 ohm so I don’t see why the bios would be different. How could I check to see if the bios of the transistors is the same what do I need to test ?

The bias current may vary between amp modules by as much 20 or 30%, maybe more. These are not laboratory amps with any pretension to DC accuracy and DC stability, very few audio amps are.

There is nothing to test, it is all normal variation.

Alright so I’ve been running the amp into a 4ohm speaker and the output voltage is about 2volts on average and that about 1w of output but the amp is so hot I can’t keep my hand on it for more then 5 sec is the a safe operation temp I know it’s not an accurate temp but I have no way of measuring isent that a bit hot for something run at only 1w ?

At idle it’s really cool to the touch but play music through it and it gets toasty like I said when I’m playing music the amp is outputing 1w I know this because the average voltage measured at output is about 2v a/c and it’s into a 4ohm load so if you take (2x2)/4 you get 1w why should an amp that’s running at 1w get so hot ?!?!?
