I like the look of those. Gentleman`s speakers (like guy stuff). They follow my own design philosophy which is a small top surface so the spouse can`t decorate them with a bunch of ornamental (or just mental) junk piled on top. 😀

The other method that works is to make the cabinet almost reach the ceiling. My proporietary design employs both techniques.

I have always liked the looks of this Gradient.And the many variations of it.

Even today it looks very stylish.Normally I'm more into wooden speakers and like the looks of vintage highend.

Big electrostatics are also simple and atractive,as well as tall and huge line arrays,but this is only the matter of big size,more than the looks.
