TimCurtis, I have the same problem with Waveshare 11.9 DSI as described by akasaka
"The screen default boots in portrait mode 320 wide by 1480 high but can be overridden to landscape by adding relevant parameters in /boot/cmdline.txt. Sadly, Moode still renders in portrait."
Can you help somehow?

Your best bet would be to ask on our support Forum. Maybe someone with that or a similar screen can help you out.

I would like to use moode in conjunction with a touchscreen display. I've used it before but only through a browser. I'm hoping to connect an RPi4 to a touchscreen display this time. Thank you.
Looks like Moode Forum email replies are broken resulting in no registration requests being received for a while :-0

All,
Trying to use a loopback with moode player. After a lot of trial and error I found that it works well with a USB dac I have here. But when I attempt to use it with headphones or HDMI I get the error 'Error opening also device _audioout snd_pcm_hw_params_set_buffer_time_near() failed : Illegal parameters. Any guidance would be appreciated.
_sndaloop.conf looks like this.

_sndaloop.conf looks like this.
I see this:
(1) Loopback is only supported in Default (plughw) mode.
(2) Loopback requires a sample rate greater than 44.1K for Pi HDMI or Headphone outputs. This requirement does not apply if Multiroom Sender is ON.
How would I use this information. I assume I need to set this sample rate. Where would I configure this.

TimCurtis,
Im playing mp3s. When you say that loopback requires a sample rate greater than 44.1k does that mean that my mp3s need to be sampled at a higher rate when I generated them for the loopback to work on 44.1K or HDMI.

Resampling can be done on the fly by MPD.
Menu, Configure, MPD
Enable SoX resampling and set the sample rate to 48 as a test.

Hi,
After creating a new user account in windows 10 (I had to delete the old one as I had issues) I have lost access to moode - neither google chrome nor edge work.
When I try to connect to moode.local I get "this site can't be reached" message. Running the troubleshooting gives the following: "your dns server might be unavailable". The computer is connected to the same wifi of the raspberry pi of course. Everything is still working fine from my android smartphone, where I use Chrome as well.
I configured the raspberry pi 3 some time ago, I may have forgotten something since... any lead please?
Thanks,
D
