You're probably right, I hadn't looked at 6" but a dedicated 6" midrange is probably the best option to marry to a TP150H.
Distortion peak around 100Hz - 200Hz was due to screws holding driver in box being too lose. 😱
I have ordered B&C 8PE21 for midrange. I have read many good things about it.

I have finally finished them.
Distortion seems relatively low. I have more problems with furniture rattling in the room.
Crossed at ~400Hz to B&C 8PE21. Probably it would be even better to cross it lower, but I wanted passive crossover.
I have MTW configuration because otherwise tweeter is too high when I sit. Vertical dispersion is very limited.
