It sounded nice but consumed so much power that the 20VA transformer got alarmingly hot after a while, you could fry an egg on the fets too. But as usual i blame the breadboard and that i used the behringer op stage and not the real deal with a IR2110.

for additional details, use email so we don´t steal this thread.

it is a hard work to make a class-d amp ,
u must get a scope to know about what happening at ur board.
and i can tell u about our project,
i use mcd-255(250w version6) at my lab, and run it day after day,
just with the heatsink that u can see on the picture of the top.
open cover,
i can touch the heatsink for a longtime , not hot, just about +5 to10dgC

i think Mr vision dont care about our talking,
he want to know about the mcd.

Vision , if u dont like we continue , tell me pls 🙂

eden 🙂 i 'm just a nomal guy from china .

i also never seen a picture from eden.
we just know each other through the mcd amp,
he like it and want to try it ,
after heard about it ,
then he want to be the agent of MCD amps
also he push me to make it better and better.
thanks eden,
but remember i'm just a normal designer of class-d amp
there r many good class-d amps on the world,
for example : ucd, icepower, and many others.

eden, we just sale the amp,
sale the good performance,
we can show the performance to any others.
we can sale the good sound from mcd,
not need to sale me 🙂(just a joke)

That is true, but I wouldn't sell them if they didn't meet my standards, they did met my standards and sounded far far better than any Cambridge audio, Rotel, NAD etc at that price point, for this reason I decided to want to sell them, there are a few things that need ironing out, but it is a very promising sounding amplifier.

🙂
