Hi Hans,
To me happen just one time but it's really frustating.
Thanks for your reply and good luck.

Hi Enrico,
The sad news is that Tibi shipped the boards on 27-7, but so far I haven't receceived them.
Tibi is pushing the expedition company to find out why it is taking so long.
I only need one day for testing, so I'm anxiously waiting.
Hans
Should I hold off ordering from Tibi until you have tested one?
The wait is frustrating, partially because the ability to implement corrective action with payment transfer is generally gated and long waits like this endanger buyer recourse in case things go awry. That's not to imply any impropriety, just a statement of one compounding factor. As diy goes, this isn't a cheap solution to volume control and the long wait is definitely frustrating. I can't fully spec my chassis until I have a unit in-hand, either.
badman,
A front pannel design is available to download FreeCAD file here, or Acrobat Reader file here.
If you can't wait till Hans get the boards and test, I can ship your order next Monday. It is OK ?
Regards,
Tibi

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Have exported the front panel to WebGL. Click image and rotate with the mouse.

Thanks Tibi- I'll wait because I'd rather be sure, just expressing the frustration (which I know you're feeling too). Thank you for the front panel design- very helpful! But I'd still need to take a look at how everything goes together in terms of layout before I can move forward.

Rather than get 2 separate trafos it's probably cheaper to get one custom trafo that has 2 sets of secondaries to power the Maya and the BPBPs (2 in my case).
Is there any reason not to do that?

There is nothing against that idea when you can save on that.
Hans
Pixelpusher is already one step ahead and has all PCB's connected.
All relays are clicking, but he has not yet connected it to his audio chain.
So watch his findings on the analog line level forum.

Btw,
I have noticed we have some new Maya builds here. I recall we had a topic with Maya builds as well 🙂

Hi Tibi,
I am thinking to replace the encoder with an encoder and built in push button.
Which encoder parameters did you use in your build ?

Tibi,
How much variation can there be in the AC voltage if 9V?
There is a diagram of how to connect the controller in SE, but no details of how to do so in Balanced.
Can the controller accept an SE input and yet operate as a balanced output? And how are these options chosen and controlled.

Hi buzzfob. One maya relay board is suitable for two se channels or one bakanced channel

I have a balanced set purchased from Tibi, I am simply wanting to confine proper setup and operation.
I have the same set up. You can wait for an update from tibi 🙂

I think I have a pretty good idea of how it is to be connected just making sure. Do you have pictures of your setup? What secondary voltage dos you use to power the board?
I am finishing it now.
Will check secondaries at home I recall I have picked mid value from the recommended
Signal route is hot via right channel, cold via left channel of the same board.

Is this comment only relevant to the Maya being used as a complete volume controller and not relevant to the Maya - BPBP implementation?
