Replaced the broken cap and fitted new transport, it now works as it should, there are no pots on the 63 to adjust apart from the lazer strength which for obvious reasons im not going to mess with .
hello Ray, hoop you can help me i have a Marantz 67 mkii OSE and your pcb dac output amplifier (discrete cd uitgangstrap) i see a lot of pic , but must i remove the hdmi parts ?
olso it is a balance input . where i have to connect it on the Marantz pcb.

I need help to repair my 63 KI
Digital output working, can connect to external DAC.
Analogue output not working.
Voltages at opamp pin 2 and 3 read 2.8V (should be 1.4V)
Pin 3 reads 6V (should be 0V).
Confused, where is the fault.
Help greatly appreciated

I used to hang out here about 20 years ago and modded a KIS and SE to the moon and back.
My mate has my CD63KIS since many years and he loves it!
Is there anyone here that has seen postsa about making a digital input to the DAC inside the CD63?
Possibly switchable between input and CD player...
