Supreme 3.3uF in my power amps are one of the best things I've ever done, the music positively FLOWS from my speakers now. It's only a matter of time before some go in my CDP.

Just a question.... is there any limit on the output cap capacitance value ?
I know that the bigger the cap, the easier it is to transmit the bass... but there must be some shortcoming or you all would be using 100uF or more....😀

The reason we don't use 100uF is because of the cost and they would have to be housed in their own room due to massive size. The Marantz has 110uF as standard on its output (2x 220uF).

Of course, that would make it sound loads cleaner, natural and detailed.
But a simple discrete buffer sounds loads better than even LM4562.

Yes swap out the opamps then once you're happy with it slap in a DOS or DIS in this case
