Any advice on where to connect the primaries of the 9Vac transformer?
Should be so that the PS for SAA7220 turns of w the rest of the cd-player.

Should I put 100nF wima's over the diodes? Got plenty to spare.

I usually do that too, but recently read that opinions on this differ.

Lol! Wrapping and copious amounts of vino for me this evening (if I can put the iron down!).

Primaries after the on off switch ( unless you want to leave it powered the whole time which is another option. Mine was wired just to kill the display rail for WAF (wife appreciation factor!!!!!!!)

Could go w 6800uF, think that'll fit. But I doubt you notice any difference between 2200 and 6800uF for feeding the TPR.

Just finished the cd67 to go on eBay after Xmas. Mate just told me sb touches were on amazon for £134.99. They all went while I tried to find my log in details to checkout Grrrrr!

Get an SB duet receiver and a tda1541 dac.... It doesnt get better in terms of user friendliness (iphone as remote) and sound (direct i2s)

Already using an SB3 which I've heavily modded. That runs into my Audio Aero. Just fancied a touch and @ £135 it would have been a bargain!

I tried them both (modded x2 and sb duet via direct i2s) and the sb is in a different league. I am using a synchronized clock, meaning 1 masterclock for sb and dac, similar to what ecdesigns is using. It's just very very good.
