I have an IanCanada stack on a PI4 consisting of a PurePi II power supply, ES9028Q2M DAC, I/V Standard OPA IV Stage, and an ESS controller. I was using an IFI Zen streamer to a Schiit Modious DAC. The IanCanada stack is significantly better, especially in depth and musicality. It's just a joy to listen too. I took a more budget oriented approach than most here, but it's not a compromise IMHO, and I can always upgrade when I want. I run a LMS and currently use MoOde as a player to access Tidal and a large selection of local files. It all works very well together.
