LU1014D Small Amplifier 6 Watt with low distortion

They would deliver the current easily. I would actually use a 3s LiPO. Best power supply I’ve ever heard. Even better than C-L-C by a margin. I’m running my ACA mini with a single 6s LiPO. One of my favorite amps ever.
Nice! Could you please describe the full setup re charging, supervision etc inc. pointers to specific products. This would be a great help if one would like to try a similar setup - thanks!

How much run time do you get on those batteries?
I’m currently using 6s 3300s, which are good for about 1.5 hours of listening. Once you hear it you are hooked.

You just have a couple batteries charged and you are good. I happen to have lots of these batteries for RC flying. So, they power airplanes and provide me with amazing audio. Who knew? 😂

Here is my suggestion for your 70 Ohm headphones.
Actually it has even more clean output. Distortion is very low. THD 0.00025%
I had to increase C2 to 100pF.
Also note the resistors R1 and R6. They are changed.
Also added a resistor in the output: 47 Ohm
The bias is 175mA in the output LU1014D.

Thanks for the simulaition.Hope we can agre on a pcb for this one.. 🙂

This Small Amplifier can swing until 9.75V from the 12V supply.
This is with 0.2% THD.
The power output is then 5.98 Watt RMS.
So it is fair to say this is an 6W amplifier.

Of course it is no good to put out 6 Watt.
Normal listening is lower than 1 Watt.
Nelson Pass call his website 'First Watt'.
This is for a good reason ....
