Both Plan A (direct transfer from his bank to my bank) and Plan B (transfer through an intermediary here in the US) failed. Plan C is that he's sending a check from there to here. As of today's mail it has yet to arrive.
Perhaps they didn't feed the koala carrying the envelope sufficient eucalyptus leaves before he left. Bless their little hearts, koalas can't fly and they aren't super powerful swimmers, but I've got an eye out for the fella. They've got koalas over at Riverbanks (regardless of my other complaints about where I live, we've got a really good zoo) so he can rest up among his own kind before heading home.

Thanks for the update Grey. This little critter is so hard to get.
I need her badly. Dreaming of her day and night. If you can do me a favour, I would like to get it from you directly. I just need 10 pieces. You can count on our Malaysia "Orangutan". I can do paypal if that's OK with you.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Are these the same semis from the previous groupbuy from a couple of years ago??
If so I have quite a few I could sell to the people that for some reason missed the boat here. Email me if interested.
I don't want to step on anyone toes here so Grey let me know if you have a problem with this and I'll retire my offer. I am just trying to simplify my life and I got rid of alot of things and constantly in the process of getting rid of more.

Same ones. LU1014D. But hold on until the buy gets settled, as it would be impossible to back out one buyer at this time; the check has already been cut for a certain quantity of JFETs, plus shipping, and unless someone else in that part of the world happened to want those parts, it would complicate matters.
Enough headaches, I already have.

Spare Jfets
Ipanema,
I haven't got you down for any of these Jfets, or at least, under this name, so I would certainly ask "grataku" if he would sell you some.
The group buy wanted 180 devices plus some spares for later requirements, but Grey has only 162 left which will just cover the ordered quantity and unfortunately, no spares.
For the group-buy participants, Grey has mentioned the delays and problems with the Oz and US banking systems, and so I have resorted to Airmailing a bank cheque directly to him last week (that has not arrived, yet) - a very frustrating experience.
BUT -
.... these little magic devices are worth the wait, and as they are matched and ready to go, we can use this period to prepare all the other bits, and I'm also told that practising patience (a Zen thing?!) is "so good for you"! It won't be long now.
I have been looking for an Ali "U" channel to mount the fets to Conrad flatback heatsinks (to suit the Peter Daniel F3 and F4 pcbs) - 60mm wide with 30mm sides and 6mm or more thick - this doesn't appear to be available here in Oz - does anybody in the US, or elsewhere, have anything similar to this?
For now ... James

Alright Grey,
I'll wait for this gb to get done.
To the dozen or so people that wrote me: please wait if you can.
Also what is the price people should pay (for matched and unmatched)?

grataku,
If I understood James properly, you can go ahead. From what Ipanema was saying I was assuming he was part of the buy. If he's not then it won't make any difference, either way.

Hi James,
I would have thought that post 618 is the confirmation that I'm into this groupbuy. The reason I'm asking for an update because the zen meditation is failing me.
Don't want to miss out the last chance to get this precious part.
Not to complicate the group buy, if you have missed up my names in the group buy then I'll proceed with grataku.
Thanks.

It's official...I'm confused...
I'll let you guys sort this one out. I don't know who is and is not in on a group buy. All I ever asked for was a total number of JFETs and an address to ship them to.

I read the thread and still can't figure out if there is another group buy or is this a continuation of the one I missed. If there is another buy, I am in for 10-20 depending on pricing.

jims,
This was the one and only, accept no substitutes, genuine, certified Lovoltech Group Buy. Whether there will ever be another is something that is beyond the abilities of this mortal to predict.
jacco vermeulen,
Why do you think I'm getting out of this? I've run out of space to bury bodies in the back yard. If I were to strangle even one more person, I'd have to start stacking the corpses two deep.

Grey and James,
If you continue to have troubles getting a payment to clear, drop me a line and I'll be happy to help out as I did with the previous Australian Lovoltech GB.
