I just checked on the Deep Surplus site the shipping charge for 10 Fet-s are:
"Ground (Canada only) – $43.01 " and this is not in Canadian dollars!😱

Ouch that expensive? how will they pack 10 Units of FETs? using 1 inch thick antistatic box then put inside an aluminum case?
For $43, USPS can send 10 pounds medium size packet to Indonesia...

Recently I recieved a shipment of LU's from Deep Surplus. The shipping and handling was $8.70. That's a padded envelope 1/2 way across the USA (Ground). That's probably about 50%-50% "shipping and handling" 😀
It might be that they are using UPS. UPS charges a customs brokerage fee on everything to Canadia even when it does not require going through customs.

I was thinking of building the F3-or zen variations #9 but I would like to know if there are any Power Jfets left and where you guys-anyone is getting them.
My traditional sources like Digikey don't have any. Can anyone help me or is there a substituion out there? thanks, dave

Hi GR, I know I am very late in the game but do you have any 1014's left to do an F3 project? I was looking for a winter project and I still can't afford the Pass 200.XA's so I thought I would give this project a try. If not I guess i can do an F5. thanks, dave

Deepsurplus still has them they have measured them and sell them in different Vgs
ratings for $2.75 I assumed that is for a matched pair.
