I have only soldered SMD once before. I learned that the iron tip is important last time around so this time a bent needle tip was used. Also, for guys like me, it is a better bet to wet the solder pads before actual SMD soldering. I f I were king, the boars would be larger, so that the mounting pads were not so close to components. I have a feeling that these two boards will be the usual thing in my future builds.
