Did you try to build a mono amp first?
Learn how to do that properly and then use the lessons to develop towards a 2channel amplifier.

No, I did not build a mono first. During my assembly, I did have one board hooked up, and it had noise by itself.
Stereo was the same.
Stereo was the same.
Time to go back and build a properly operating Mono amplifier.
Use
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/diya...udio-component-grounding-interconnection.html
to help eliminate all your "noise".
Once you have learned this, only then move on to two channel.
Then, when two channel has been mastered, you may be ready to move on to multi-channel.
