I reckon, DN2540 based SF, 50mA, would feed that nasty gate

frankly, can't say what I'm expecting, in comparison with Schaded IXYS puck, but will certainly try it that way, with addition of said SF

it's challenge mostly, not expecting anyone else going that route

I am interested in the same for my DIY amps. I’ve been looking at Etsy and others. I also need some smaller ones to label the tubes on the top plate of my tube amps. Haven’t found anything I really like yet.
I have been trying to find someone who would make nameplates for Aleksandar's amps that I have in progress. I want to use the Nikola Tesla font that is readily available ( I have it loaded for Mail and Word on my Mac) but like you have had no luck, Will post if I find somebody

You're right, the input capacitance is 10 to 20 times higher than IXYS pucks or Tokins. I was thinking follower like the MoFo but IXYS pucks are also available.

But then I have more than enough amplifiers already. 😊

Bob, if find someone online to produce and need files prepped in obscure format, just let me know. Happy to help!

I have been trying to find someone who make small metal plaques for the front of my ZM amps using Tesla font

something like
Zen Mod Labs
Old Soul

Zen Mod Labs
SissySIT

No luck so far

You are possibly aware of this process, outer edges could be cut straight or laser cut to get a curved profile or one with apertures. Model Engineers use it for etching miniature metal parts such as locomotive pieces etc. It's fairly common globally I would think, and used on various metals. I have not used and have no interest in this particular company, just listing it as an example.
