I was thinking about using thermal glue between the two heat sinks but need the chassis to check how tight the two heat sinks sit together.
not enough "meat" that way, to ensure proper heatspreading
been there, done that, remembered that I heard some saying about probability of getting free lunch

Well, im thinking that it would be fun to build and have them both: The Singing Bush and the Lazy Singing Bush. Of what i have gatered so far they have different sonic characters. Could be fun🙂
How about the avaliability of them parts kits? Now, weeks away, months away?
Are we supposed to ”place orders” via PM, or how does this work???
🙃

I think PM for PCBs. I did that. Then you are into the queue to be served. FIFO principle, I think.

I have found a trade post:
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/the-singing-bush-kits.350518/
But that one is ONLY for the NOT so lazy singing bush?🙃
Yea, i am the super newbie of the day 😎🙂🙂
What du you guys think, would this SMPS be forbidden heresy and a deadly sin in combination whith the Lazy Singing Bush? 🙂🙂🙂
Do you know any other really good SMPS alternatives?
I might be wrong, but this one seems really HQ:
Hypex SMPS1200A400 2 x 64 VDC 1200 Watt Switch Mode Power Supply
https://www.soundimports.eu/en/hype...MImuOOiJr--gIV049oCR3jlwD0EAQYASABEgJo6_D_BwE
Would the 64V be reasonable in both the lazy and the not so lazy singing SIT:s?

if that rocks your Boat, why not?
it is OK, 64Vdc is perfect for rail
though, count on some HF garbage filter, post switcher PSU
edit: take care - you need single rail; didn't look at small details, but linked one looks as bipolar , meaning +/-64Vdc

This is a extremely good High End opportunity for me to make a solid point, that have been bugging me…
No man alive can trustworthy judge a final HiFi system by listening to a single speaker or a single channel (amplifier).
It is equivalent to licking one of the cold cast iron frying pans, and talk about the following and upcoming top notch multi course dinner.
🎷🙂🎸
Just sayin it, as it really is

believe it or not, I had few revelation moments, exactly that way
in few occasions I finished just one channel prototype and tried it mono, one amp channel to one speaker
though, used extra-familiar music (must!) and proper xformer stereo to mono summation
still remember collecting jaw from the floor, that much I was surprised with mono experience
Yea, Zen, you can surely get a pretty darn strong hint, by one channel, if you are a extremely seasoned and skilled speaker/amp building dude.
But you know what i mean 🙂
