ACA top is having 1x voltage gain (what's logical) , while AC current contribution to output current is ~ 33%

as Pa sez - make those source resistors as chain of small valued ones , then just change output taps

while having same voltage gain all the time , you'll change amount of upper part current contribution in output current , thus changing THD spectra

just change places of 0R47 and 0R68 resistors , and you have 20% instead of original 33%

I do the difference of the two values and put it always in in proportion to the lower value?

I'm working on a second SIT amp. Have the Hammond 193v chokes.
Just need to build a case.

mine always on , with 193V and cant decide between battery on gate or bypassed source resistor .. different flavor but can live with both 🙂
