if two sexes then PP , but no source follower
two parts , same sex - sort of mu ........ but not so sure that plain mosfet in upper part isn't good enough ; see ACA for example

Yeah have the ACA, probably finish it tomorrow.
Just asking what would you build with this device to get as close as possible to the music.

that asks for same sex parts , whatever sort of "differential" you mean
dunno - one day I'm gonna make something as I already posted in F6 thread ; I'm xformer junkie

Me tooo. Idont like to push pull the sound around...)
Single ended for me is the only way...😀
Hard to beat a nice passive component for voltage gain.
Maybe I should just give up on these Sony parts, I already have a stack of Laterals which I know I like.
I do like F6 and I am a fan of JLH, maybe I'll join ya.

Like F1J
The same sex parts is not the issue. The issue is what to build next?
Probably should finish the circlotron amp that's 90% complete as well.

The answer to your friends request is simple. AN 15 inch
Keep in mind.
1-We are way off topic. Thread jacking!
2-Be mindful that there are KE and KD edition of the parts.
3-ZM is right, Iron in signal path or amp is often a good thing. PP or SE.
Love that Sit.

I was hoping someone could elaborate on these parts enough to warrant spending money on them. I already have a library of parts and don't mind buying more but do these parts get you closer to the music than the good old lateral.
then wait for article (proper one or snatched from BAF , hopefully )
and , then you're going to pay double price for SITs on fleabay

OK you've convinced me.
Just ordered 2 pairs

There is no best solution only versions...I suggest just make
something out of your library that will sound to you good...
Some say, what measures good also sounds good...
I understand this but some parts are definitely better than others eg more linear, easier to drive, linear capacitance, easier to bias, etc etc.
Too late now. Hahaha.
The evil ZM has influenced me yet again. Hahahahaha
I got KE devices I noticed KD as well. What is the difference?

Half of topic 2SK82

We have 2SJ28 one more KF parts range

Me too i like this Sit.
I go build L'Amp single-ended and compare him
with my 2A3 triode 4 watts in near future.
Have fun all gentlemans on BAF🙂
Best regards
