Krell KSA 50 PCB

Sounds good, if i understand you right i have to measure the real resistance at room temperature on the 64k resistor and then again in about 70 degrees hot water and then use those data to make an "automatic" voltage regulator with the LM (got a lot of them) it is 12V fans 0,14A but at max i would like about 11,5 volts.

Exactly. I've been using variations on this circuit for a couple of years with junk box thermistors, and I've never had one go wrong yet.

2 serious and effektive fan ducts.

Good show, the Krell produces serious heat, don't underestimate it.
Krell used really efficient special heatsinks on later fan-less models, the KSA250 and up models were gigantic.
If Krell had not converted to fake Class A sustained-bias techniques their amplifiers would have been monstrous without the use of fans.
I've constructed a few +100 watts Class A amplifiers without fans, their sizes were silly and the heat gave me headaches. Even during winter i had to open a window
(claustrophobic livingroom back then, good side was that the apartment only had 1 single gas stove, without the amps i would have frozen to death)

jacco,
turn the amps off.

hmm..
Just looked in my english - danish dictionary flat means a lot of different things depends on what connection it's used with, maybe i have inventet my own dialect ?😀
Well to clear misunderstandings i will write it in a very easy language :
Har været på ferie i Friesland et år det blæste meget, perfekt for surfere, jeg kan godt forstå de har så mange cykler, Holland er et meget fladt land men samtidigt meget smukt. (well - i think it's easy) 😀
I'll better get back to the Krell...we are getting a little of thread..

Thats possible but i must admit they do know something about hevy weight lifting....and they did like drinking danish beer.
In the storm on the 3. of december 1999, a 1000t portalcrane where blown down - they helped us lifting sections fore ships while a new crane was build, but they sure did know at what price they could work - their supervisor got 600 us dollars fore one hour...

And yes i am an AP Møller guy and so is Steenoe, actually he made me curious building amplifiers but i must admit that he's better getting things done, i got a lot of stuff laying around - still unfinished, Krell got 1. priority i just have to make it.
And i'm still modifying.

Me dumb, i can see you are in Odense everytime you post.
(Funen is really great, i've sailed my boats there a couple of times)

I've still got problems getting a layout worked out for the KSA(KMA) that fits a normal chassis, and fewer time by the week to work on amps, busy times.
