John, you've got the last pair of drivers. That means that all drivers have been spoken for. The order has been finalized and the payment for the drivers is pending. Subscribe to this thread if you want to keep on top of what's happening. The shipping option was changed to airmail so I should receive the drivers this month. When the time comes, I will email each of you individually regarding payment. To be fair, and to help me keep my sanity, I will do it a few people at a time and will go down the list in order of who posted first in this the thread.
Stay tuned for more 🙂

Sweet! I know how time consuming a group buy can be... so take your time, and if it hasn't already been said enough: Thank you!!
🙂

Any news on the status? I am only wondering as it is becoming harder and harder to fend off my wife as she tries to spend the money I have earmarked for these. I guess I will just need to hide it under my side of the mattress.😉
Thanks for all the hard work. It is greatly appreciated.

Ah yes, the status! I have been told that since we've all been good little boys the drivers have been loaded onto Santa's sled and will make their way across the atlantic sometime in the following weeks.

Major coolness. Can't wait! I have the money burning a hole in my pocket and am looking forward to completing this deal as soon as possible. Thanks Brian!
Since I keep getting emails from people making sure they're part of the group buy:
Everyone who has expressed interest in this thread or via email has a pair of drivers reserved.
The drivers should be in the US by now and the local delivery company should contact me soon to find out when they can drop them off.

The drivers are in Philadelphia but are being held up by customs... This means I have to pay a storage fee on top of the customs fee of 5% of the value of the goods... Hopefully they will clear customs soon.
Hi Brian!
very good news 😀 pls show us pics and Best way to proceed.

As mentioned above, the drivers are in my possession and am about ready to start sending these things out.
I've tallied up all the expenses (I think) and here is the cost break down for everyone to see:
Drivers: $11000 (100x$110)
Shipping: $890 (Air + Ground freight)
Fees: $760 (5% cost of goods duty fee + brokerage fee + airline storage fee + wire transfer fee)
That adds up to $12,650 and when you divide it by 50 people you get the base price of $253 for a pair of drivers.
Shipping costs using the USPS flat rate boxes are as follows:
to the US: $9
to Canada: $25
International: $40
I haven't checked how much insurance would be or if it is even offered on shipments to Canada or international destinations, but if you would like it added I can look into it. I was hoping to be able to do delivery confirmation so I at least know they were delivered but that service isn't offered for international shipments.
EDIT: Here you can see how much insurance would cost - an extra $3.35 for shipments to Canada and $3.80 to all other countries. It also looks like I can do delivery confirmation for international shipments.
If you would like to pay with a check the total will be $253 plus the shipping cost. My bank told me to wait 7-10 days for checks to clear, so there will be a short waiting period before I ship if you pay by check. If you want to pay via Paypal and are in the US add 3% to the total cost. If you want to pay via Paypal and there is a currency conversion involved (Canada and international) add 4% to the total cost.
I will notify each of you via email (the one you have registered with the forum) regarding payment. As mentioned before, I will do a few people at a time and will go down the list in order of who spoke up first, so please be patient.

Testing the Jordan JX92S
I'm just a third party instigator; but in September, forum member Zaph (John Krutke)mentioned a interest in testing the Jx92S drivers. His testing is impressive and he has quite a library of test data that makes it easy to compare to other brands and models. Ref: www.zaphaudio.com
I have not been in contact with him and he is starting a "really big project", so I don't know if he can make the time. However it would be a win-win if one of the group buyers would lend him the pair of drivers for testing. Any takers?
