There's probably more, but I'm not going on an expedition to figure out every completely unsubstantiated belief you have that has no data from a reputable source.

- I think there are coupling mechanisms that can be proven.

- For sure systems sound different in different locations, which means different local fields. I don't recall singling out 'sacred places'.

- Yeah sure, take a portable system into the bush in the right location and away from strong RF sources, car stereo is a good example.

- I think you misinterpret me, I say there is strong question of safety and effects of relatively high power levels of 'millimetre wave' which is radar band !. I think EMR per se is not a problem as it is merely the carrier, I think the question is of modulations due to the EMR radiating material, ie the antenna material.
This goes back to point 1.

There are no arguments against my replies in points 2, 3 and 5 leaving 1 and 4. I have stated what I suspect and not theories, that said what I suspect is based on observations that are not formally proven at this time but should be provable I think.
Nope I look for solid provable reasons to explain observations and I'm not into hocus pocus hippy stuff, conspiracy theories, aliens, ufos etc - FBI Documentconfirms my view that the internet/Youtube has facilitated spread of far too many kinds of nonsense, some leading possibly to violence. There is also a whole travelling roadshow conference industry devoted to 'conspiracy theories' of every kind, not unlike some Christian minestries....I don't automatically believe in any of either category, in fact I don't believe in anything, I leave things to knowing through experience, personal experience.In the meantime I may accept or not accept theories and observations of others, this means that I acknowledge that I have received the information and have applied my own knowledge and observations in order to guage their probability.

On headphones it sounds 'analog' but no vinyl pops I think, so digital source ?. The recording is 96k so I'm thinking Pavel is capturing the output of his system somewhere, DAC, maybe as far down as the power amp, what has he been working on lately ?. Wherever sourced it does present as pretty clean and clear and 'studio'...still with some bark in the vocal/guitar which is usual for systems playing Jethro Tull but usually much worse, this system does a fairly good job of keeping this under control. Pavel, you can give us hints if you want to string this out for fun.

Jacked up the car and removed the flat tire. As he placed the tire down it bumped the hub cap and the lug nuts came out and rolled right down a nearby sewer grate.

Well the way I see it......this thread is much like a group of redneck women around a kitchen table for coffee and cigarettes. If there were no preconceived ‘wrong doing’ for discussion it would be rather boring.

OK, I have done some Down Sampling to Pavel's file and I find Dithering and Noise Shaping are audible. I have also made Loopback Recordings of each of the above files using famous Goop cable. All files incorporate 5 second fade-out tail for analysis of dither/NS noise in original files and additional DAC/ADC noise in loopback recordings files.
Subjectively there are quite strong differences on a number of fronts, primarily to do focusing, sense of power and coherence. I find the source files images are not stable and lack depth, image precision and power/weight in particular the central vocal and the guitar when compared to the re-recordings. Take a listen to the music and take a close look at the lead-outs, this difference is partly one example of what Goop does. Pavel hopefully you agree that my methodology is fine and then I can move on to other comparisons, I am interested to know what it is we are testing.

Many threads are like that. The way I see it is that this thread is for posting almost anything, much of which would not be allowed elsewhere, that can lead to some very interesting discussions.

It never ceases to amaze me how many songs can be written using exactly the same tune.
At least a decent GUI and advanced models for certain devices (for example BSIM4 v1.8.1 for mosfets). Otherwise, nothing that the average DYIer will ever miss.
