HAHA, Yeah, I got that image from the net. There's a couple of them on there you could just shoot me for.
If you find ABBA on any device I own please terminate me.
If you spin it at 5 1/4 rpm and let some 4am religious radio broadcast seep in it can be really enjoyable.
A rarely considered benefit of tubes and turntables is that thift store disco trash and Jane Fonda jazzercise albums can sound like long lost Actuel free jazz releases in no time.
Roon was spun out of SooLoos / Meridian. Nice interface
Has anyone used Plex?
Have been using it on a dedicated NAS for video but see they have also built out some of their audio features.
I like their interface a lot and it has been very trouble free for my own personal use cases.... for equal parts remote and local use I haven’t found a more appealing option.
It would be nice to have an option that could handle both types of media.
Phew ! I made it. Geez. On R&R from my vacation in Cool, California. be over here in Asia (Bangkok) for the next 4 months. Miss you guys. Didn't pay my bill in a long time so no internet in condo until they get around to setting me up again.... now in bldg. lobby using free WiFi.
Enjoy the season -- I will, too.

In TH they are usually pretty quick, or, just buy a prepaid True sim for 30 days without data limit.
Which area in bkk? I hope you don't have the rehearsals, for the royal ceremony, in front of your door.

Hi Scott,
If you find any ABBA, send it my way and I'll put them with the others.
Sure, I'll admit it! They sound a lot better on the new (to me) turntable and Ortofon cartridge.

I have heard of people seriously searching for things that work ultra slow. Homemade Sunn o)))? 🙂 Shortwave from the US deep south is best for old timey religion, seriously scarey at times.

While in the Deep South after packing up to escape the hurricane my local NPR station turned out to be one of those very stations.
I heard someone referred to as “Not only a bitch, but a necromancing wizard”. I believe in biblical reference to Saul and the sorceress of Endor ...... and no not where the Ewoks live..... unfortunately.
There’s also music made from tape disintegration:

We were just discussing last night the great diversity of the music scene in Belgium and the Netherlands. I see his next two live shows are there.
While in the Deep South
John Hartford's album Aereo-plain starts with a song called "Turn Your Radio On" which kind of captures that old-timey feel, and ends with a 17 second Station Break. "...and the bath tub of the South. It's 7:30"

Sylvester Anfang and related hail from Belgium.
Interview: Getting to know Sylvester Anfang II, the best band in Flanders, Belgium (with video)
I’m not sure how notable being “the best band in Flanders, Belgium” is however.

I live at the RHYTHM condo at soi 44/1 on Sukhumvit road. Condo # 435.
Not close to the ceremony but its always a most popular road and this ceremony is over-the-top and will back traffic up on this road for as far as the eye can see. I'll either try to see it or get out of town before then.
Where are you?

We usually stay near Lumpini park when we visit bkk.
Traffic will probably be bad (or: worse 😀 ) until the end of October, I think leaving the area for a short holiday is smart.
We live in Had Yai, Songkhla, not too far from the Malaysian border.
The Host powers the electro-optics on both ends, the signal is isolated. And it DOES use VCELS so it is easily good to 4 GHz.
