Thank you very much George!
So i can see many electrolytic coupling caps, many 8 leg animals, different feedback loops, limiters and harmonic distorsions adding circuits, 8 leg output buffer and a simple 8 leg power regulator.
All this in the recording chain.

My wife will love this song, she is from Venezuela.
But Jacco, please tell me the sense of it or what you mean therewith.
I am not afraid, just try to understand better.
I am aware what all happens with the signal in the recording chain and wonder myself why it can sound so good sometimes on some hifi-rigs and vice versa the same song played on a different system can sound ugly for my taste.
What is really important to get a good listening impression/feeling?

Have that album but had forgotten that song.
My favorite album is The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter, and especially Waltz of the New Moon, and Nightfall. My friend Kathryn turned me on to them, and it took me years to grasp them.
I get that, they are a lot more than a bublle gum pop band. Which is one of the reasons why I like them.
Difficult to categorize, but definitely not pop. Folk-metaphysical perhaps.I get that, they are a lot more than a bublle gum pop band. Which is one of the reasons why I like them.
"The children can see them...."
How dare anyone state Germanes do not possess a grand sense of humor.
Yeah, that whole VW thing is hilarious.
Yes, it's truly a masterpiece, could easily be called the Best of... all by itself.
Do try the Incredible String band, there should be some of their work on Youtube. Also, look up Jonathan King's take on the Stones' "Satisfaction". An outstanding piece of work, in my view.
I took a listen - that is very good. I'll see if I can get some CD's or catch them on Spotify. Thanks for sharing.

Not at all Andrew. I sort of collect "best of ..." CD albums from the 1960-1980 period and if there's interest, I can quote a few very worthwhile titles.

Quite so, Brad, they have a mixture of sounds all blended in, there's some pop here and there, some traditional British folk music, and lots of dope. After a while, they sort of grow on you. I was fortunate to get one of their albums in 1975 or so, that's how I know.
I once erupted in song walking back to my then-office at UCLA many years ago with some friends with whom I'd had dinner. The Water Song from HBD. It was in a quasi-residential area, and a woman came out on to her balcony and said All RIGHT!
My vocalizations were not always encouraged thus.

Now try this for contrast, enjoy! Brilliant work!

Here's one especially for John, his buddies from The Greateful Dead as you don't often get to hear it:

Their chip in the Tribute to Phil Linot of Thin Lizzy. The traditional Irish song which Thin Lizzy turned into a worldwide hit.

the sense of it
It means two things :
1 : it adds Snail mail, stuff that shouldn't be there, but arrives two days late.
2 : it turns Pop-music into Lolly-Pop.
(3 : the no-1 original of 1972 transforms to no-2. Honduras, Banda Blanca)
Remember the Tremeloes? From the 1967-1970 period, when pure pop was still good to hear on occasion?

Here are two og their biggest hits of the period, played on the 2014 Oldies but goldies parade.

Arguably Cat Stevens' best ever sond. Oddly enough, sung in classical Latin, of all things, here with translation subtitles:
