Hi James, I'm travelling at the moment. I've put in a discrete op-amp from Sparkos and had great results. I have some Sparko discrete regulators, that I was tempted to put in, it doesn't look like the PSSR of the circuit is very high?
With the new op-amp, it's sounding nice 🙂

HelloHave you tried ADA4627 ?
Patrick
No, I have not ... I am in the process of making a test bench
so will try your suggestion, many thanks for this input and help
very much appreciated
Also
I have some original PCB's still available and my new ones if needed
all at cost (no profit to me)
all the best 🙂

Hi James, I'd be interested in another set of PCBs for some experiments with different parts in your build. I don't suppose you have any matched TIP41's? (Would you still suggest TIP41's or are there alternatives to try?) Thanks Seb
Hello
do you need the original pcb's or my new ones?
I am assuming the original versions ?? please let me know
regards

Just for info
TIP41 are still available so you could match a batch for yourself (cheaper) ??
I have tried loads of different output transistors and have always reverted back to tip41 .. but this is a personnel choice of sound that you prefer
the IC chip is the most important

This thread started out with JLH headphone amplifier.
Still his circuit is the most interesting.
