How does the round LeCleac'h horns peform in in terms of beaming in the upper frequencies? And what is their dispersion to begin with? More spesificly the Azurahorn AH-550.
Anyone modeled elliptical JMLC horn? Surface loft through profiles (slices) results in a non-smooth contour.
Don't know about modelling but I know someone who build it: Eliptical horn
Serious work SunRa.
Soongsc - elliptical JMLC is different, you can't just draw two guidelines and two ellipses. Surface approximation through point cloud is of course much quicker especially in Mastercam.

Hello,
I used to calculate 3 types of horns having a ratio H/W at mouth different of 1.
Le Cléac'h elliptical with low HF directivity :

This is the one Jzagaja as shown.
quasi Iwata / JMLC method
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=1532652&stamp=1212760839
May be this is SunRa's horn but it is doubtful (we should have a lateral view of the horn to confirm or not)
constant horizontal directivity
