I've posted an evaluation of the J-Box III speaker measurement system if anyone is interested:

Sure. I figured Equipment and Tools would be the right forum section, but maybe no one looks in here.
A score ago you would have needed all these things:
No better time than the present for our full ranger enthusiasts friends to take measurements!

Cold shivers run down my spine at the sight of this. I love performing acoustic measurements, but just thinking of the cable spaghetti from the equipment.. Every. Single. Time. 😖
All in one solutions sound like salvation at first, and I have used them before (such as the community solution STIC), but it just doesn't help me much if I need three to four figure watt amplifier output numbers.
If you provided more information about what it is and what it does, more might follow through also. I'm exceedingly lazy about digging into vague posts and typically a bit put off when someone just links to another site and says, "Hey, look at this." There's a whole internet out there saying, "Hey, look at this." Give people something to get their interest up: some bullet points, a brief summary, something. You'd think someone here would have interest in this...

CAD$204 with free shipping is the best price I've found for the whole kit. If you already have a XLR mic and just want the box, the basic kit no case is CAD$165, or the same price as Dayton DATS.A lot of capability for $220, and it is all inclusive, all plug and play... Perfect for someone just starting out in speaker measurements.

Sorry if "speaker measurement system review" is too vague about what it is, what it does, and what the link will provide. I'm too exceedingly lazy to cater to your laziness. One click away from finding out.If you provided more information about what it is and what it does, more might follow through also. I guess you could always BYO kW amplification, since it does have a voltage selectable outputs.
@DcibeL is in conversation with the designer/manufacturer.
Always room for improvement in version J-Box IV!

I have a similar thread going on, in which the user markbakk posted a link a a review in a dutch forum.

Reet´s conclusion in the dutch forum:
On a slightly different note: I tried to find out what the difference between the J-Box3 and the more expensive Box with the red case is but the vendors on Aliexpress dont either!
It is really complicated to communicate with Chinese people because their way of thinking seems to be different from us (Westerns). The language barrier is a problem as well.

Reet´s conclusion in the dutch forum:
Conclusion
This device offers a lot for the money. If you buy individual parts, you will spend considerably more. It offers simplicity and a practical little solution. You can measure TSP, impedance and sound pressure per frequency at hobby level. So much for the good news. It is unsuitable for chassis assessment, also the measurement level is limited by the high noise level. I also miss the measuring voltages 2V and 4V. But above all, this product has not been made ripe for the market. There is no documentation and you have to be a bit of a geek to make a workable device with the adjustment potis. In practice, the measuring voltage dial is only there for decoration because the usual measuring voltages are not given. With a little effort, something can be made of it, but some points still need to be worked out in the development.
For the hobbyist with some insight, this is a nice box, not for the professional. Of course, this can also be seen in the price, the whole set is just a bit more expensive than a decent sound card.

J-Box is a one man operation, it appears as a bit of a passion project that occupies most of his spare time. It is a "For DIYers, by DIYers" device. For what it's worth, there is documentation available, but not in English. I will attach it here, if you are interested you may run it through your favourite translation tool. The designer may include the manual on the USB stick with the calibration on future sales. It is available through the Taobao store, but that is not the only place to purchase the device. For those who can follow the block diagram, it is a pretty straight forward device to use without instruction. Selecting 2V or 4V output is simple as well, at least with REW, simply calibrate for voltage level and you can select it directly as a slightly lower than 0dBFS output level.
I have seen "the red box" as well, it appears to not include an amplifier so it more of a simple USB audio interface with loopback impedance jig built in. It's less attractive as a more expensive device with less functionality, in my opinion it would be best to just get a USB audio interface and make a DIY jig if going that route.
I don't have any information on the future of the J-Box, other than it sounds like the designer is continuing to pursue improvements. You will have to wait and see what becomes available in the future.

I'd like to get a 7S hobby-toy type lipo battery and wire it up- totally portable measurement rig!
Just save a little more and go for the Clio Pocket as that’s still unsurpassed. Reliable/proven, precise and very, well, ‘pocket’.
Unsurpassed in what way?
The only thing I would like from a J-Box IV is being able to be used without an external power supply.

At 4x the cost and requiring proprietary software, you will mostly be in Audiomatica's pocket, and still need an external amp.
I'll offer another more reasonable comparison, this J-box device complete with mic and carrying case costs the same as Dayton DATS while including an amp and mic for acoustic measurements.
