I've just been given

What are the 15" 'midranges' you have in the shed?
I'd love to see a picture of them. Do you know anything about their specs?
If they're rugged enough, you could add a bit of mass to them to aid bass.
I would definitely peruse some low cost project 🙂

Well the organ driver doesn't fit but this one does and the holes also line up
A garage sale find last year for $20-
A bit tinny but that's possible because there's bugger all bass
I put it on the DATS and I am getting some strange and craxzy readings Computer glitch

Restart the computer Start test again
Re 7.132 which matches my multimetre
Fs 35Hz
Qts 0.98
As it's midrange I don't think the high Qts is a problem in a leaky box and therefore Vas isn't needed
Still need some upper octaves tho

Found a spare singleton 25mm tweeter
Out of a POS Peterson box from decades ago, it has the advantage of being quite loud. I'll attack the plastic with a hacksaw and find a scrap of ply and start playing around.

You could get some 3mm aluminium plate and drill the mounting pattern for the box, for what driver you want to use and the middle hole
Honestly unless you already had drivers to go in it, I wouldn't bother, you'll end up spending a lot of time and money for disappointing results
