Humbly... very late to the party. I am expressing my interest here in hopes of being a part of this opportunity.

^ Never a worry. It is too late to add your name to the e-mail list. However, there will potentially be some extras left that will go into the store directly following. We'll know more in... 9 days (or so) each group has 3 days to make their purchases (I think), and there are potentially 3 groups (I think).
If they all sell through, then you will have to wait for the Super-Mega-Deluxe version to be in the store or perhaps another person will part with an extra.
I hope you're able to get one and that it works for your timing.

It seems that the group e-mails may have been inadvertently going to spam folders for many of you. In order to avoid this, Jason is sending out a second round of e-mails individually. So, if you happen to get a couple e-mails, it's nothing to worry about.
No problems here…they are usually blinded temporarily and I slip right by 😉Yes, I repent, I'm just but flesh.
Which is good. If my cojones were metallic I'd have one heck of a time going thought TSA, huh?
Thank you IAIMH, and I forgot to thank you for your dedication on this thread for us greedy boyz.Congratulations!!!!!
All I can say about this Iron Pre - man, this thing rocks!
I set mine to 12dB gain last night, since it matches better with my current amp and I am hearing sounds and some magic I've not heard before.
^ I am thrilled!
I think I had mentioned it before, but I'll repeat it. I think everyone should try this pre-amp. Reviews obviously are subjective, but when I was lucky enough to build a prototype and even luckier that my noob self got it to work properly
... I was gobsmacked. So... I figured I could try and help get it to all the little Greedy Boyz and Girlz.
Thank you for the kind words. And most importantly ... as always... Enjoy the tunes.

Without potentiometers connected, I measure a resistance of 0.4 ohm between CWW+ and CW+ in the left channel, whereas the right measures around the 2Mohm (CWW- and CW- left channel measures around 1.5 Mohm). Could this indicate a faulty relay? If you think pots are different it should even out at full output.
It should be easy to test if the "amp core" amplifies x2. E.g. 1000 Hz 1V RMS in and 2V RMS out.
Could it be that one channel is running in SE-mode and other in BAL-mode where you think both channels are in BAL-input mode?
Or maybe one of the JFET-buffers does not work as expected in "bad" channel?
If no pot is connected then CWW and CW is an "open circuit". So 0.4 ohm between these points is not expected.
There must be a "short-circuit"?
2Mohm sounds better.......do you have your fingers on probes since it does not show "infinite"?
Some dirt on circuit can also cause this.......

It lives! With lil' critters specially trained to show input selected 🙂
Thanks to Zen Mod, all the DIYA team that put in the effort to make it possible for us to build a special pre-amp and, of course NP for ongoing inspiration and support.

Indeed I had my fingers on probe, so infinite is probable. I can't see any short on PCB, that's why I was wondering if it is caused by the relay. Measured resistance of Cinemags in circuit and the measure roughly the same.If no pot is connected then CWW and CW is an "open circuit". So 0.4 ohm between these points is not expected.

Yellow is ground on Alps. Blue is input and green output. In this case I removed the Alps and measured resistance between CW and CCW.
In other words there is nothing connected.

Perhaps someone can spot a mistake?

CCW is connected to GND
CW is connected to appropriate signal common, which is incoming signal from relay selector
you have short to GND somewhere on relay group
eyes, beep test, lens, light
though, those wires are too thin
for signal, 3mm^2 and upwards
