My payment had been processed by CC company so the issue definitely is
with paypal.
I've just 'confirm receipt' on paypal. I hope that does the trick.

I too have confirmed the receipt. This option is not available in the apps but it is available in the browser. Please let me know once you receive the payment.

PS to everyone: the withheld payment is not an option. This is just the way PayPal works: money is kept at PayPal until payer confirms reception. This is so PayPal can deal with litigation in case of problems (and what the famous PayPal fee main purpose is... also so PayPal can invest the money and get the interest rate for a few days instead of seller! Few cents a day, times many millions, that’s good business!)

Next time however, it’s best to mention using the « send money to family or friend » option if we’re not going to use the purchase protection feature anyway. Fee is smaller , and on payer side instead or payee.

I have a Paypal Payment email dated Sept 28 saying "You sent $2,100.00 HKD to LAIWING KEUNG. " Just checked my bank account which shows a corresponding debit on Sept 30.

and just from under an option that is:
"Confirm reception"
Press this option.
