I've checked my paypal transaction, it now says "payment sent" (please confirm if it is really so). Like the others I've no idea why it was withheld for days, real sorry about that.

Sorry...was away for a couple of days. My payment was sent Sept 27 and
the status on paypal says "Money sent". I'm not sure what to do about
this payment withholding problem. (I don't even remember seeing that
as an option during the payment process.) It's all very confusing.

I used the "buy" option in paypal web page and not the "send to a friend" option.
But I was not on your list of withheld payment.
I was in doubt about what option to select. But guidance for a group-buy
with non-profit setup should probably be to select "send to friend"?

hmm... I never heard of this before and I do apologize.
update: I just checked with paypal and there is no hold for confirmation of shipping it's just some sort of clerical delay and money should be received today. It said "sent"since the day I sent it but under details it says you will not receive it till today.
In retrospect I think I have had this happen a couple of times when sending money overseas.
One time when I said "Aleph fets" in the memo I was questioned by national security.

In "transaction summary" I can see a label:
"Shipment Tracking:"
and just from under an option that is:
"Confirm reception"
I have "confirmed receipt" and a message appears indicating that the seller has received the payment and that I can no longer open a claim in case of problems.

I see I am on your payment witheld list as of your post 9/30. Like others, this was not intentional and I do not recall any such option. My paypal account says "money sent" on 9/27 with the advisement "Your recipient should have the money by September 28, 2019."
To speculate, perhaps this is due to payment with a credit card and not bank account. When I checked the credit card, no charge has been posted yet.
In any case, sorry for the extra work burden on your team. Your efforts are most appreciated.

I paid with verified bank account and my paypal stated the exact same thing as yours.
Regretfully I've had to withdraw from the buy. I've informed by PM also.
So disappointed.

We are required to send the items first, fill in a tracking number at PP, and wait a day before they will release.
If that works it will just be extra work.
If it doesn't then we'll let you know.
Which payment gets blocked seems to be entirely random.
Nothing to do with country, amount, etc.
