Well, with a liquid (other than mercury or NaK alloy), the conductivity mechanism is ionic, so any DC offset will be ruinous. Conductivity will be low, but won't they look cool?
No no...no way...
I got enough problems with water hammer in my house plumbing.
I really don't need any more with snappy bass notes ...going clunk clunk through my system.....

SY,
If you can't fix it feature it. Dissolve one end and plate up the other... awesome... sell 'em electrodes too!
And you know, as long as you have that electrode out... you might as well put in some new fluid...

Great idea...you can make them consumables....like a lubricated razor...."from when the blue is gone you replace the lubricating strip" to when the blue is gone you replace the sacrificial anode" ....then could sell a water softener as well and........
...and a whle new system when it leaks....

OI, I can just see my glow in the dark™ (for brighter sound) liquid run out into the back of my speakers...
Public record boys... IT'S MINE.
I would call them Liquiphonic Hosings.
More people should get a hosing from The Poobah...

Nothing new under the sun.
If the cables (pipes) were filled with battery acid then all you would need to do is modulate the depth of the plates. This could re-vitalise the analogue fraternity. Because of the inertia of the plates any nasty digital processing artfifacts would be gone......
ok I think it's quite obvious we're all done wrapping christmas presents ...and boredom has set in.

Hey RDF,
I have never been to that Forum. I have been warned by the moderators about the looney quotient there.
Is that why they call it asylum???

Ok ...this one is mine for sure...
Vacuum filled glass envelopes available in lengths of 1 metre multiples.
Signal processing cct providing.....oh about 300kv per metre....
No more copper purity to worry about, no more argument about silver v copper v manganese...just sweet vacuum....
Ok I'll cut Nordic in ...cause of the glow in the dark thing.
VACUSOUND.....PUT THE THUNDER BACK IN YUR BASS.

I think a few of DIY members have been banned from there cause they provided way too logical & technically correct input.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...
What about the purity of your vacuum? And just what type of connector will you use???
And what about you loop area? Will these tubes be twisted?

Oh please it's obvious....
The connector will be gold one of course.
Of course the glass envelopes will be twisted. Of course you have already worked out that the diameter of the twist will have to be more than the cable length...cause were dealing with 300kv per metre and cross conduction could be an issue....
Otherwise you will do more than "see the music" you'll be able to smell it.

Well.... that gets a few souls around pretty jacked-up too. But here we fight with gloves on... punch below the the belt... TEXAS.

You cant put gold through the Glass... it won't seal.

I see where you're going with this.....
Ok ...what % do you want. I retain all design credits and 2 votes on the board.
Your day to day remuneration will be the same as mine.

What????
You get the secretaries with big capacitors and 3 hour golf lunch, while I do the glass to metal interface work???
C'mon now...
