Yeah but no to germany. Pity.
Probably a good buy. It seems comparable to Sabaj A10a. Without really knowing one could get the impression that Sabaj, Topping and SMSL are all by the same designers/manufacturers.
BTW how much simpler can it be?!

That is kicking in an open door 😉 Some add resistors to that low impedance you know? And reduce gain at the outputs. Crazy world.... but I want a simple amp - nothing added but gain in low impedance.

Then buy Aiyima A8 very good amp.No volume, no EQ, no "analog stereo effects" (?), no remote... quite a bit ;-)
$82.99 direct from https://www.aiyima.com/collections/eu-warehouse-ship
Yes I saw that but how many have they sold without complains and reviews?🤔There are many complaints that DA-6 does not work immediately upon receipt or stops working after a few days - seems like poor quality control.
Check this out.Hello.
I wonder of anyone have tried SMSL A300?

I bought an new DAC for my desktop setup that I have missed, Aiyama A5 Pro for $52.
Now they talking to my fullrange W8-2146!
So the flow is:
Computer-USB in to-Komplete Audio 6-SPDIF out to-nanoDIGI-in to A5- RCA out to balanced board-in to PL-AD-160 V1.5 modified.
Im happy!
I like that extra +6dB, if I thinking right in gain.
Aiyama A8 don't have that gain that I think this chip needs and also it power with 26V.
It's preferences but A8 sounds more mellow colorized.
And goe straight to the chip with coupling caps on the balanced board I think is an advantage.
The self noise, don't sure if it's dead quiet is any MA12070 amp that?
But is the the same as A8, very quiet.

MA12070 itself should have around 45 µV noise so yes (unless they managed to make a mess of the circuit before the IC).
It seems one of the key parameters of the chip when compared to other class D chips.

So I was refunded by Amazon even if the seller had "left the building". The question is now how I shall invest my 28€ in order to get the best possible MA12070 experience? It will drive the HF section in my Hornflowers...

Yes. But it can become 16 ohm of course. And I have DSP EQ so FR is not so critical. Is an active x-overed 2 way speaker system.

Why without indictors? For your "32 ohm" HF a board without inductors I guess

If JLesterP comparing KGUSS MA12070, same as BRZ as I see, with his amp he must be realy impressed with that sound.
🙂
Maybe he should test the PL-AD-160 modifyed and balanced in?
I think he like it.
No doubt he makes an good amp with better power but $190 from Philipines for me to Sweden.
Im not testing.
"Regarding the sound of the latest Sylph-D100 with OPA1656, it has softer highs and better details than my KGUSS MA12070, and fuller midrange sound than my Topping PA5 as well as better sparkling highs. Also, it can get 100W at 4ohms if driven by 38VDC supply. I really think it can compete with the best amps out there."

Maybe you should add links to what you are telling. I think you want to tell someone likes a 114 US $ device (a random implementation of a TI chip) over an 35 US $ device (a random implementation of an Infineon chip) while throwing in a to that person unknown variable that should be modified? High math content! 🙂
What about you? Which one do you like best?
