It is ok to copy Pass Labs for DIY home amusement. Mr. Pass welcomes people build their own copy using their own brain. It is not ok for a commercial enterprise to copy Pass Labs and sell it as a commercial product.
In the USA, theft of intellectual property can be prosecuted to stop the theft. Since this theft in Thailand cannot be prosecuted by a USA company, the only thing to do is to make a joke and laugh at it.
