In some package, the free I/V STD PCB was wrong to Transformer I/V PCB which is not free. If that is you case, please just keep the transformer I/V PCB as gift 🙂. It was my mistake. Sorry about that.

So I was considering getting the FIFO II kit and the Dual XO, but it seems like the FifoPi does the same thing in a single board and is much cheaper.

Is there any advantage to getting the two boards over the FifoPi?

Well if you are not using a raspberry pi for your music streaming the Fifo II kit and the Dual XO would be more useful.

The only I2S inputs are on the J1 header which connects to the raspberry pi. I suppose you could adapt another device to use the header if you wanted.

You are right. I thought the J4 header was I2S for some reason.

Good news you putted an acrylic/pps decoupling cap at the bottom of the FifoPi board, far better than ceramic classI when it comes to listen to music... well done!
