On the Hypex site, the new software is listed as "0201" which is a bit confusing as the previous versions were 2.12 and 4.0b. Also nice to see that the documentation appears complete as well, as the previous beta version included no instruction.
In the zipfile you find the version number of HFD. 0201 is basically the second version of the Hypex Content Cd, containing HFD 2.12 and 4.4.0.8. and some other documentation [emoji3]

Installer still crashes, luckily you don't actually need to "insall" it to use it.The new software is online!

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Which version of Windows and .NET framework are you using?

same here with Win7 and .net 4.5.2
I got the same problem installing it on Windows 10.
Still seems fully functional though, and I like this new version.
Thank you for continuing to improve this Product.
I look forward to getting my hands on one more DLCP,
so I can run my LX521 4-way digital.

Hi Everybody!
This is my first posting in this forum.
I have just started my LX521.4 DIY project, and I am having problems with my DLCPs, so I thought some of you could help me.
The modules are:
2 DLCPs with Input and Control panels
8 UCD180HG-HxR
4 SMPS400/180
I have started by first installing the two DLCPs (master and slave), each with an SMPS400 aux power supply.
DLCP firmware V2.3
Control Firmware V1.3
Every time I try to set channels on one DLCP to left (both are on right channels), the Control Panel goe into Bootloader mode. I have tried all permutations and combinations, have written to Hypex for help but unfortunately without any success upto now.
I did read in this forum that this problem is not unknown. Evidently the Hypex firmware for the Control Panel is extremely unstable. Just when I think everything looks OK and try to change a channel from right to left by pressing the down button on Control Panel, the display shows left channel for just a second before jumping to Bootloader mode. I have to then load the V1.3 firmware at least twice before the display says Waiting for DLCP and then shows Setup DLCP1.
There is no Hypex documentation on how to enter data in Control Panel to set up the DLCPs.
HELP!
Regards,
Subhash

I am sure Bruno appreciates his direct email being published online.
Re: the Hypex Filter Designer 4. I have spent very little time with it, but overall the interface is a fair bit nicer, at least prettier, than the old 2.12 HFD. Unfortunately I still cannot import FRD for manipulation, it relies on an impulse response which limits functionality. Manual entry of the biquad coefficients is also still unavailable. FWIW, the competition includes both of these features.

Did you solve it?
DS23man:
The display unit has been sent to Hypex for inspection.
I assume this is a hardware error.
Will post result here once I hear from Hypex.

Control Board Issue
Hypex said they reloaded software and are working on a new software release to prevent this from happening again.
The two DLCPs are working again with the Input and Control boards.
Overall, Hypex combination of UcD180HG HxR and DLCPs is a wonderful combination!

I finally started working with the new hfd, but quite frustrated that my DLCP does not respond to the channel mute buttons in filter designer. Tried to reinstall control firmware, but no change.
Anybody else have problems with channel mute?

Does anyone have information about which OEMs that has a product based on the new ISIS module in the pipeline? And possibly estimates regarding price and time frame for availability for the consumer market? I have an active crossover I would very much exchange for a digital, and that seems to be just the right product for the application
Hi all, this is my first post on this forum...
I have built a 4xucd180 driven by the dlcp. I am happy with my build except for one thing, I don't get the delay function to work in the hfd? Anyone who have had similar problem, (and know the way around)?

Johan, the mute function works for me but all channels are unmuted whenever a new preset is loaded to the DLCP, even though they are displayed as muted in HFD.
I have to unmute/mute the necessary channels again.
I would have thought they would fix this problem, which was present on the beta too, but perhaps their tester does not use this function either.
I use neutrik speakon connectors so it's easy to disconnect the drivers not used,
but even so, the whacky mute function is a source of irritation.

Hi guys, As I am possessing DLCP from some time (and I am extremely pleased with its sound) may I ask if anyone of you have an experience with kind of modding / tweaking this expensive piece of gear? I mean if anyone tried to swap standard electrolytics and v-regs for better alternatives? It seems that DLCP consists of very clever ideas, for example clocking and clock signal distribution, cool glowing buffered v-refs for DAC's, impressive FDA filtering at the outputs... No areas for DIY tweaking at all. The main concern from me is if this everything is properly powered - DSP chip, clock circuit, 3.3V digital parts, and maybe there is a place for improvements? I don't want to kill my DLCP with stupid things so I would like to ask first becouse of my very limited electronic skills...

Eirik and Henson: I experienced that both functions did not work (delay and mute). I know that uploading unmutes, but it did not work at all.
But then Reinstalling firmware fixed both issues. Same firmware, just a fresh install. go figure...

Hi again, after reinstalling everything (as johanwholst suggested, thanks by the way) it actually did fix the delay issue. Now it sounds better then ever...
I got my money ready to go the active Xover way.
but reading this thread I wonder if there ever will be further development on the DCLP software , or should I go another route , Najda or minidsp ?
Or do I read it all too pessimistic ?
Are there any true happy customers here with the DCLP ?

DLCP experience
Hi Andre,
I have been using two DLCPs in my active speakers for a month and apart from a few teething problms with the control board, I am very happy with their performance.
I have not listened to minidsp, however, from what I hear, I would rather install DLCPs again if I do another similar project!
