It only needs a capacitor if the dac not DC free is. If the dac has a output capacitor it must be DC free. This capacitor must be at least 22uf because of the low input impedance(1k8) of the unbuffered UCD or you will lose some bass.

Because of the missing photo's and a lot of people get UCD oem modules, i place my latest schematic with i use with the OEM modules.
