How to turn everyday stuff into cool speakers

I've got some electrical conduit flares 100 mm internal by 210 mm long and wanted some thoughts of what they could become 2 thoughts maybe stand alone subs stand the flare off the ground and driver mounted in top or the same as before but extend conduit up and a small line array 500 mm high any thoughts

"Everyday stuff"?

If you split them down the middle, you could combine two halves inline and make a desktop dipole line array with the proper baffle and 3 inch full rangers. Or a two-way with the attached tweeter.

Open baffle

I like the open one looks sweet but might use two drivers per side is what you've drawn open baffle ? Dose this type need to be close to a wall to sound good? Thanx for the effort you've put in I'm gonna have to start fabbing need to thing of a top colour for them
 
Most people seek for colour in the sound -or absence of it- when making speakers. Needless to say most of DIY objects are obscene at first sight!
But...the goal is good sound, the looks come second.

BTW I was looking at the first TB speaker either. It has double power than common speakers ( those that come supplied in cheap Pc speakers ).
Maybe you need a simple fullrange because that one don't make any treble sound.
