The voltage adapter is finished and working like a charm.🙂
With the potentiometers added to the box, I can balance the level between the two subwoofers and the DtqwtII speakers precisely.
The voltages calculated between 0.4 and 1.5 Volts are satisfactory, fully operable, it is a margin of maneuver that allows me to select the exact gain point with the controls of the Bheringer before saturating it. You can see it in the position of the knobs and the green and red lights when the amplifier starts working near the "protection limit" zone.
The speaker load is 4 Ohms. At maximum power it would be delivering 2 x 900 watts. Bheringer claims that RMS measurement is no longer applicable today with Class D, so let's assume it's half, the Eminence DeltaPro 18A speakers support 450 watts of root mean square power. I will have no problems with this point, I hope...😀
Since Troels speakers go up to 40hz with high SPL, I am crossover at 80hz and the low limit defaults to 20Hz, which acts as a subsonic filter. Anyway, I'm not very clear on what would be the best active filter choice for these large sealed cabinets. (DSP options are: Butterwhort 6DB / Octave- But 12 Db - Bessel 12 Db - LR 12 DB - But 18 Db - But 24 Db - Bessel 24 Db - LR 24 Db - But 48 Db - LR 48 Db -) Someone maybe you can clarify for me?
For a while I will enjoy the system as it is, unfortunately I will have to face the reform of the cooling system, I think that only the replacement of the fan will be enough. Even at a distance of 4 meters (thirteen feet) in the silent passages the music becomes very annoying. I have read that many people complain to Bheringer about this, I myself wished it was true that this amplifier is equipped with a fan speed auto-variable according to temperature, but it is not. I think that while it is true that in PA use the fan noise is not important, this amp is bought by many people for use in HT or, as I did, to listen to music ... Bheringer could have tried a little more .....
Perhaps a fan regulation kit can be adapted by sensing the temperature on the output TRs, but I am not qualified to do so! So, I will wait six months for the warranty to expire here in my country, before replacing the original fan with a Noctua ..... is it the quietest as many say?
That's all for today, my bones claim the horizontal position .....😡

Why 2nd Order Is best or not
There I would have had to ask, but the thread is closed ...
So the question I have is:
In the frequency range of the subwoofer that I use - 20 to 80 Hertz - is any difference audible between the different types of filters that I have?
The most important thing is getting the phasing correct. Sounds like the filters are linear phase if they are done in a DSP.
Hi
The DSP of the Bheringer has only 0 and 180 degrees to change the phase.
Selecting any of them, I don't notice any audible difference in the low range. So I leave it at 180 degrees, opposite in polarity but in phase with the DTQWTII's rear speakers.
What is your opinion of the different filters, would one of them perform better than another in the sub-frequency range?

You should hear the difference between 0 and 180 degrees in the bass. I tend to use butterworth 12 or 18dB/octive. Don't think is will make much difference.
I'll pay more attention, I had chosen Butterwhort 18 Db / octave. A little more noticeable than LR 12 Db / Oct.
But this start-up of this amplifier is very recent and I must know more about it. I have downloaded the software and I see too many knobs there!
I wrote to Bheringer about the noisy fan, and they reply that it could have dust inside, and that's why the fan takes high speed (and its consequent noise) I hardly turn it on ..... But if it's cold!
And the amplifier is new, do you think that my country is the Sahara desert ?
Also, why do you ask buyers to register on your website? Have you not seen the purchase date on the form?
I suppose that in this time of pandemic there are many people affected in their intellectual performance ......
I have also read a lot of threads, here and in other forums that mention this problem, I think I remember that what they advertise as variable speed is only two steps, one already noisy (cold) and the other, (hot, and that I hope not to experience given home use), much higher. I think it would be noisy like a jet and taking flight ...
